Job Application: Amazon Fulfillment Associate - Fayetteville, NC Join the Amazon team in Fayetteville, NC, and play a key role in delivering customer satisfaction! As a Fulfillment Associate, you’ll be part of a fast-paced, physical team that ensures customer orders are ready for shipment, including Amazon's super-fast (2-hour or less) delivery service. Key Responsibilities: • Inventory Management: Receive and put away inventory to keep the warehouse organized. • Order Preparation: Select, pack, and ship customer orders in a timely and accurate manner. • Loading and Shipping: Load boxes onto trucks for shipment, ensuring safe and efficient transportation. • Scanning & Troubleshooting: Use scanners to read barcodes and follow prompts on screens to complete tasks. • Safety & Quality: Ensure product quality requirements are met and work safely by following all safety standards. Equipment & Physical Requirements: • Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT): Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet drivers, and other machinery, with training and certification provided at no cost. • Physical Activity: Lift up to 49 pounds, push carts up to 60 pounds, and stand, walk, squat, bend, and reach during shifts. • Work at Heights: Work at heights of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine, as required. Work Environment: • Temperature & Noise: Warehouse temperatures range from 60°F to 90°F, and some areas may be noisy. Amazon provides necessary protective gear. • Safety: Amazon provides safety gear, shares daily safety tips, and ensures all team members adhere to strict safety guidelines. Schedule & Flexibility: • Shift Options: Work options include full-time (40 hours), reduced-time (30-36 hours), or part-time (20 hours or less). You can work additional hours when needed. • Shift Flexibility: Available shifts may include overnight, early morning, day, evening, and weekend options. Some positions offer four-day workweeks and three-day weekends. • Anytime Pay: Access up to 70% of your earnings immediately after each shift (for select employee groups).
