Associate Public Health Consultant

Job Description: • Support multiple client projects through planning, coordination, and administrative support. • Contribute to the design and implementation of public health programs, assessments, trainings, and evaluations. • Assist with grants management, including preparing budgets, monitoring spending, developing work plans, and submitting reports. • Coordinate meetings, trainings, and events, including scheduling, materials preparation, and follow-up documentation. • Maintain organized records, data, and tracking systems to support internal and client reporting. • Contribute to the development of written deliverables such as summaries, reports, presentations, and communication materials. • Assist in preparing grant proposals and other funding-related documents. • Support coalition and partnership activities by helping manage communication and logistics among stakeholders. • Collaborate with team members to continuously improve processes and client service. • Perform other duties as assigned in support of BME’s mission and client commitments. Requirements: • 2-3 years of experience working in applied public health (local, state, or federal level), project coordination, or a related field. • Master’s degree in Public Health or a related field required. • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse colleagues, clients, and community partners. • Experience with public health accreditation, quality improvement, or performance management initiatives is desirable. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard project management tools. • A valid driver’s license is required.
