Our team is open to remote work arrangements, and we are committed to providing a collaborative and supportive work environment that fosters growth and success. **About the Opportunity** As an Account Executive, Customer Base, you will be responsible for creating and managing the opportunities pipeline with a focus on incremental revenue by upselling and cross-selling to provide solutions to customers' evolving needs and challenges. Success will be defined by effectively growing revenue through managing your sales pipeline to quota attainment, with timely updates in Salesforce. **Key Responsibilities** * Meet or exceed individual and team revenue targets by developing qualified sales opportunities that result from up-sell and cross-sell to the existing customer base * Initiate a high level of outbound prospecting activities leveraging digital (email, video, etc.), and respond to inbound sales leads and convert them to new business * Provide support to qualified prospects and customers, including follow-up, product information, and quotations * Coordinate, orchestrate, and align "quarterbacking" blithequark resources, as warranted, to drive opportunities to closure, deliver sales wins, and close new business * Maintain a solid working knowledge of blithequark products and the benefits they provide * Utilize modern selling and marketing techniques and tools to communicate effectively with customers to build relationships and develop and close sales opportunities * Effectively execute a territory plan and manage pipeline to maximize revenue * Enter forecasting and account/opportunity details in Salesforce; provide weekly updates, including but not limited to, dollar amounts, status, and decision makers and next steps in closing opportunities * Propose, coordinate, and participate in marketing activities within the territory * Perform other duties as assigned **Skills and Experience We Value** * Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience * 5+ years of sales experience * Knowledge of HCM software or high-tech products/services is preferred, with a high preference of knowledge of blithequark * Proven track record of accomplished selling * Proven ability to develop new sales and drive the sales process across teams * Must have knowledge of solution selling and value-based selling techniques * Effective verbal and written communication skills * Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities and work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment * High energy, proven sales closer within a technology or software sales environment * Ability to engage with C-Suite, drive business discussions identifying company priorities/goals/strategies, and translate into the value blithequark solutions can deliver to achieve business objectives * Aptitude, desire, and commitment to leverage technology and digital selling tools (social, video, automation, etc.) to drive digital sales motion * Proven ability to build pipeline (both self-gen activities and leveraging corporate marketing programs) to consistently over-achieve assigned quota * Ability to execute against the blithequark Digital Sales Process while managing multiple concurrent opportunities with close attention to detail **What's in it for You** blithequark is fueled by the diversity of our talented employees.
