Job Overview The Customer Business Lead will be responsible for developing and executing a winning growth strategy for blithequark and Costco. This will involve working closely with the customer to understand their needs, developing and negotiating sales strategies, and collaborating with internal cross-functional teams to deliver results. The successful candidate will have a strong background in customer-facing sales, excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and a proven track record of driving growth and delivering results. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for blithequark and Costco, aligning with the company's overall business objectives Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at Costco, including buyers, replenishment teams, shopper marketing, and ecommerce Drive customer relationships across functions, including sales, marketing, and supply chain Develop, negotiate, and execute in-year and long-term strategies with Costco regional buyers Own revenue planning, trade planning, sales forecasting, and the execution of commercial strategies to deliver annual objectives Influence continuous product development by collaborating with internal cross-functional business teams, including sales planning, category development, RGM, supply chain, ecommerce, shopper marketing, and insights Analyze syndicated data, member data, research, and industry trends to create business cases for product and execution solutions that lead the future Own the P&L to ensure the delivery of blithequark financial goals and market share gains Actively ensure precision and consistency with monthly, quarterly, annual internal & external deliverables Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in customer-facing sales, excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and a proven track record of driving growth and delivering results. Specifically, we are looking for: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Minimum 5+ years of experience in customer-facing CPG sales role with proven selling/negotiating experience; HQ Selling experience a plus Understanding of product commercialization processes Ability to leverage customer-specific data, such as syndicated, Costco IRI, and consumer research, to drive business results Customer focus and attention to detail Experience with customer trade negotiations Understanding and driving action through the lens of a customer P&L Essential Skills and Competencies In addition to the requirements and qualifications listed above, the successful candidate will need to have: Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects Strong business acumen and understanding of the CPG industry Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Career Growth and Development Opportunities At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers. Compensation and Benefits The base salary range for this position is $134,200 to $184,450, depending on experience, skills, education, and budget.
