We're committed to building a high-performance team that shares our passion for making a lasting impact on students' lives and higher education. **About the Role** We're seeking an experienced Customer Success Manager to join our team and play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our partnerships with higher education institutions. As a Customer Success Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our partners, ensuring their success and satisfaction with our platform, and identifying opportunities for upsell and expansion. If you have a passion for education technology, a proven track record of success in customer-facing roles, and a drive to make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Relationship Management:** Establish and maintain deep, trusted relationships with our partners, serving as their primary point of contact and ensuring their needs are met throughout the customer lifecycle. * **Value Realization:** Collaborate with partners to set and achieve clear success goals, including high product adoption and utilization, and own delivery of those goals. Identify opportunities for upsell and expansion to increase the impact of our platform on campus. * **Thought Partnership:** Serve as a strategic thought partner for our internal teams, providing valuable insights and feedback to inform product development, marketing, and sales strategies. * **Partner Training:** Develop and deliver training programs to ensure high adoption and satisfaction among diverse roles within our partner institutions, including advisors, registrars, and other stakeholders. * **100% Renewals:** Own the renewal process for all partners, ensuring seamless and successful contract renewals. **Essential Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree or higher * Professional background in education technology required * Proven experience in customer-facing roles, with a strong track record of success in partner success, customer empathy, and persuasion and influence. * Experience working in legacy spaces, such as government, finance, healthcare, and higher education, with a deep understanding of the politics and bureaucracy involved. * Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable insights and recommendations. * Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to write clear and concise notes and updates for stakeholders. * Experience with training and developing diverse stakeholders on complex products and platforms. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Master's degree or higher in a relevant field * Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment * Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel and CSV files * Experience with commercial conversations and upsell strategies * Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams * Passion for education technology and a commitment to making a meaningful impact **Why Join blithequark?** * Be part of a customer-centric team that is addressing the core issues in higher education via an innovative and expandable platform that is loved by students and valued by administrators. * Join a promising and developing organization at the ground level and build/lead a team critically responsible for its growth. * Work and learn from some of the most prominent thought leaders in higher education and SaaS. * Be part of a culture where ownership, new ideas, and creativity are celebrated. * Enjoy generous stock options in a Series A stage startup. * Experience a flexible, outcome-based culture with comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, 401K, and commuter benefits. * Participate in annual international retreats in beautiful cities and towns. **Compensation:** * $80,000 - $165,000 base salary, plus equity **Equal Opportunity Employer:** blithequark is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to diversity and inclusion.
