About the Role: Plotting a Course for Exceptional Customer Support We're seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Customer Support Representative to join our crew. As a Shipmaster, you'll be the face of blithequark, providing top-notch support to our customers and helping them navigate the world of ecommerce shipping. You'll be taught everything you need to know about shipping, so no prior knowledge is required. We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, has a friendly and patient attitude, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment. Key Responsibilities: Plot a course: Learn everything you need to know about shipping and become an expert in our software. Splice the mainbrace: Work collaboratively with your crewmates around a flexible schedule that may include weekends, evenings, and some holidays. Fire the cannons: Use your exceptional typing skills to write rapid-fire live chat responses to customers, providing friendly and empathetic support. Uncover hidden treasure: Teach customers how to best use blithequark to save more of their loot and optimize their shipping operations. Ride the seas of change: Be comfortable in a remote environment where there's lots of change and be adaptable to new situations. Sail from your port o' call: Work from home and connect with your crewmates throughout the day over chat, voice, and video using company-provided equipment. Hoist the Jolly Roger: Share your experience, expertise, and interest with the crew to enhance our fun and progressive culture. Make our competitors walk the plank: Have fun interactions with customers that nobody else can beat, providing exceptional support and building strong relationships. Requirements and Qualifications: We're looking for someone who is tech-savvy, has fast and accurate typing skills, and is detail-oriented. You should be able to quickly multi-task and have epic texting abilities (iOS or Android). A friendly and patient attitude is a must, as well as the ability to work in a remote environment. Compensation and Benefits: We offer competitive pay, exceptional benefits, and the opportunity to tell people you're a pirate when they ask what you do. Our compensation package includes: Compensation: $27.88 an hour plus potential for overtime. Vacation Time: 144 hours of accrued vacation time to start, to keep our pirates rested and rejuvenated. Paid Holidays: 12 paid holidays per year. Paid Sick Time: 80 hours annually. Medical Insurance: 100% covered for pirates by the company, and kicks in the first of the month after enrollment. Dental and Vision: 100% covered for pirates and 50% covered for dependents. 401(K): We offer a Traditional 401(K) and a Roth 401(K), and pirates who contribute 1-3% of their annual salary get matched 100% by the company. Parental Leave: Full 12 weeks for parents for the birth, adoption, or foster placement of a child. Home Office Reimbursement: We provide a one-time home office reimbursement of up to $1,500 to purchase an ergonomic desk and chair.
