Key Responsibilities Input, update, and maintain accurate and complete data across various systems and databases Verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, identifying and correcting errors as needed Manage and organize large volumes of data systematically, ensuring easy retrieval and access Utilize data entry software, Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), and other database management tools to perform tasks efficiently Collaborate with internal teams to provide clear, concise information and resolve data-related issues Adhere to data entry best practices, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues as they arise, using problem-solving skills to identify and implement solutions Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The following requirements are essential: Typing Skills: High typing speed with accuracy is essential, with a minimum of 40 words per minute Attention to Detail: Ability to spot inconsistencies or errors quickly and take corrective action, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Organizational Skills: Capable of managing and organizing large volumes of data systematically, with excellent time management and prioritization skills Technical Skills: Proficient with data entry software, Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), and other database management tools, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly Data Management: Understanding of data entry best practices and experience working with large datasets, with knowledge of data privacy regulations and confidentiality protocols Time Management: Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy, with excellent prioritization and time management skills Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal teams and provide clear, concise information, with the ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues as they arise, using problem-solving skills to identify and implement solutions Confidentiality: Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and the importance of keeping sensitive information secure, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding data protection protocols Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in a data entry or related role, with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business administration, computer science, or information technology Certification in data entry or a related field, such as Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES) or Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) Experience working with database management systems, such as MySQL or Oracle, and data analysis tools, such as Tableau or Power BI Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to supporting the career growth and development of our employees.
