As a Co-op, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about delivering outstanding results and making a difference in the lives of our customers. **Position Overview** The Airport Customer Service (ACS) Co-op is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the aviation industry while working on a larger project that will be presented to Hub Leadership at the end of the semester. As a Co-op, you will be assigned to work on various projects and tasks, including: * Collaborating with a specific Delta team and working with multiple departments within the hub * Participating in Incident Analysis reports and Injury Prevention Group sessions * Attending station safety meetings * Engaging in employee recognition events * Driving operational performance, such as on-time departures, hot bag, clean cart compliance **Key Responsibilities** As a Co-op, Airport Customer Service (ACS) Salt, you will be responsible for: * Assisting with operational performance, including on-time departures, hot bag, clean cart compliance * Collaborating with a specific Delta team and working with multiple departments within the hub * Participating in Incident Analysis reports and Injury Prevention Group sessions * Attending station safety meetings * Engaging in employee recognition events * Driving operational performance, such as on-time departures, hot bag, clean cart compliance * Working on a larger project that will be presented to Hub Leadership at the end of the semester **What You Need to Succeed** To be successful in this role, you will need to have: * A strong academic record, with a competitive GPA and good academic standing with your university * A passion for the aviation industry and a desire to work in the field of Aviation or Airline Management * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to process complicated issues quickly and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information * Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, Forms, PowerPoint, & Smartsheet * Ability to acquire a SIDA badge for SLC, including a U.S. Customs seal and SLC driving endorsement, and pass Delta's Physical Agility Test (PAT) to complete essential physical ramp functions * Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data * Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles * Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency * Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States **What Will Give You a Competitive Edge** To stand out in this role, you will need to have: * A self-starter mentality, with the ability to multitask and think innovatively * Active engagement with the community and/or student organizations, particularly if aviation-focused * Project Management experience or similar academic immersion **Co-op Program Outline** As a Co-op, Airport Customer Service (ACS) Salt, you will be part of a dynamic program that offers: * Three alternating semesters working full-time at blithequark * Example: SPRING-working, SUMMER-school, FALL-working, SPRING-school, and SUMMER-working * One full year of experience at the end of the program **What You'll Get** As a Co-op, Airport Customer Service (ACS) Salt, you will receive: * A competitive salary * Standby travel anywhere in the Delta system while off duty * Propel Pilot Career Path Program eligibility * Career Development opportunities * Volunteer Community Service opportunities **Work Environment and Company Culture** blithequark is a dynamic and fast-paced organization that values innovation, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
