As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our healthcare applications. You will work closely with our development team to identify and resolve defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement testing strategies. • *Key Responsibilities** • Develop and execute automated test scripts using relevant toolsets, such as TestNG or Hybrid frameworks • Create and review test plans, test cases, and test reports to ensure adherence to BCBST QA best practices • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects, and provide feedback on testing strategies • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to support continuous integration and delivery • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing best practices • Communicate test status and results to stakeholders, including development teams, product managers, and quality assurance teams • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement testing strategies, including functional, automation, and performance testing • Develop and maintain documentation on testing procedures, test cases, and test results • *Essential Qualifications** • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required (4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment) • 1 year of experience in industry-leading database environments, such as DB2/UDB, Oracle, SQL Server, or Sybase • 1 year of experience in analytics, reporting, and data utilizing industry-standard tools • 1 year of experience with SQL • 1 year of experience testing applications where no GUI testing was involved; all testing was back-end processing, file processing, and/or interfaces between systems • Strong hands-on experience in Test Automation Tools and exposure to Automation frameworks like TestNG or Hybrid frameworks • *Preferred Qualifications** • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • 2+ years of experience in QA Automation Engineering • Experience with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines • Experience with cloud-based testing platforms and tools • Certification in software testing, such as ISTQB or CSTE • *Skills and Competencies** • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality work • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines • Strong technical skills, including experience with Test Automation Tools and Automation frameworks • Experience with cloud-based testing platforms and tools • *Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a remote employee, you will have access to a range of career growth opportunities and learning benefits, including: • Professional development and training programs • Mentorship and coaching from experienced professionals • Opportunities for advancement and career growth • Access to industry-leading tools and technologies • Collaborative and dynamic work environment • *Work Environment and Company Culture** Our remote office provides a state-of-the-art and comfortable workspace, equipped with the latest technology and tools to support your success.
