Job Overview We are excited to offer a 100% remote opportunity for a Customer Service Representative - Property and Casualty Insurance Specialist to work with our team. As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with a schedule that includes a combination of fixed and flexible hours. The initial training period will be conducted remotely, with a set schedule of Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm EST, for two weeks, followed by one week of nesting. After the training period, you will be expected to work a flexible schedule between 8 am - 9 pm, Monday to Friday, with one weekend a month on a rotating schedule, eventually transitioning to a permanent shift. Key Responsibilities Manage inbound email, chat, and phone inquiries from customers regarding property and casualty insurance policies, providing timely and effective solutions to their queries and concerns. Build strong relationships with customers, educating them on our products and services, and providing a exceptional customer experience that reinforces the value of blithequark's brand. Meet sales goals consistently by managing time and resources efficiently, handling interactions promptly, and minimizing wait times. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues, improve processes, and drive business growth. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: A current, active resident property and casualty insurance license (General P&C, not Personal Lines) in a minimum of 35 states, with the ability to maintain active licenses throughout the duration of your assignment. At least 2 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in a customer-facing environment. High school diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in written, verbal, interpersonal, and phone communication skills. Proven attendance reliability, with a flexible schedule that allows you to work evenings and weekends as required. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Proven sales success within an inbound service environment, preferably in a direct sales role. Insurance industry sales experience, with a deep understanding of property and casualty insurance products and services. Service industry and/or Contact Center experience, with a strong background in customer service and relationship building. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with deadlines, using MS Word, Excel, and Internet applications. Excellent tracking, follow-up, negotiating, and relationship building skills, with a demonstrated ability to consistently overcome objections.
