Worldwide Our diverse team blends Machine Learning (ML) models with low-latency, high-resilient architecture to recommend the best offer from the most trusted merchant for all products sold on Amazon to global customers. Our goal is to preserve customer trust, and we measure our success by running 200+ large-scale A/B experiments every year on a custom-built experimentation platform. Why is this a great opportunity? Location flexibility: Although, the team is mostly based in SEA, we are open for remote working Global impact: We are at the center of (or very close) Amazon Retail universe. You build systems that are used every time a customer sees an item on the Amazon website globally. We work closely with other Retail teams like BuyingExperience (BuyX), Search, Pricing, Cart, Checkout, Delivery Experience (DEX), Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG), Subscribe n Save (SnS) to name a few. You will build systems that will help our customers make purchase decision. As a result, your work will earn and preserve the customer trust. Our impact is typically measured in $MM's. About the team We are a diverse team of scientists, economists, engineers, and product managers spread across North America, Germany, and India. We are at a center (or very close) of Amazon retail universe. We build models/systems that are used every time a customer visits the product detail pages globally. We work closely with other retail teams. We conduct 200+ experiments every year with the impact measured in $$MM's. We have low operational load, and dedicated meeting free days. We are open to remote positions. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Programming experience with at least one software programming language. • 1+ years of experience in software development PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS An MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM fields Experience working with AWS or any Cloud service Experience building and operating online services and fault-tolerant distributed systems Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
