**Lead Retail Customer Service Associate – Expert Customer Experience and Operational Leadership**

As a Lead Retail Customer Service Associate, you'll be the face of our company, responsible for delivering a positive and memorable experience to every customer who walks through our doors. You'll work closely with our team to ensure seamless execution of production orders, provide expert guidance on our products and services, and drive sales growth through consultative selling. **Key Responsibilities:** * Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every interaction is friendly, polite, and expert * Manage production flow to ensure all orders are completed on time and to the highest quality standards * Take customer orders, provide pricing information, and recommend FedEx Office products and services * Operate complex equipment, including digital imaging and finishing services, to produce high-quality prints and other products * Set up and manage large job production, including coordinating with team members and ensuring timely completion * Ensure quality control throughout the production process, identifying and addressing any issues promptly * Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of orders and resolve any issues that may arise * Provide leadership and guidance to team members on an assigned shift, ensuring they have the support and resources needed to succeed * Assist in the training of new team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge to help them develop their skills * Operate the Point of Sale terminal, handle financial transactions, and maintain accurate records * Complete required financial paperwork and assist with financial reporting, including daily sales, close-outs, and bank deposits * Follow instructions from supervisors and assist other team members in performing store functions * Adhere to blithequark's standard operating procedures, as well as legal, HR, safety, and security policies and procedures **Secondary Responsibilities:** * Coordinate all shipping-related services and activities, including: + Providing customer service by determining appropriate shipping methods, informing customers of company products, services, routes, and rates + Ensuring quality customer service is given to customers by providing packaging services and offering information about company products and services + Offering assistance to customers by suggesting appropriate shipping methods and maintaining inventory of shipping supplies + Assembling parcels and preparing goods for shipping by wrapping items in insulation, inserting items into shipping containers, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels **Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:** * High school diploma or equivalent education * 2+ years of specialized experience in customer service, sales, or a related field * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members * Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods * Ability to move and lift 55 pounds * Ability to bend/twist at the waist and knees on a consistent basis * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure, and maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time * Ability to work with minimal supervision and report regularly to work and maintain established business hours **Preferred Qualifications:** * Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction * Knowledge of FedEx Office products and services, including print, signs, and shipping * Experience with digital imaging and finishing services, including large job production and quality control * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions * Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication **Compensation and Benefits:** * Competitive hourly rate: $19.75 - $23.22/hour * Eligibility for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential * Comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement * Opportunities for career growth and professional development, including training and mentorship programs **Work Environment and Culture:** * blithequark is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment * Our company culture values customer satisfaction, teamwork, and continuous improvement, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences and driving operational excellence * We offer a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, with opportunities for growth and development in a rapidly evolving industry **How to Apply:** If you're a motivated and customer-focused leader with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences, we invite you to apply for the Lead Retail Customer Service Associate role at blithequark.
