Manual QA Engineer (Entry Level) Remote

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: United States About the Role SafeRide Health is seeking a Manual QA Engineer (EntryLevel) to help ensure the delivery of highquality, lifechanging software solutions. You’ll be part of a crossfunctional team delivering fullstack and backend products that power our healthcare transportation platform. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and a passion for improving the customer experience. If you’re located in the San Antonio area, you may be expected to work inoffice a few days a week. Remote applicants must be based in the U.S. and may be asked to travel occasionally for team collaboration. Key Responsibilities • Review and understand product and feature requirements, including functional and nonfunctional expectations • Develop and execute comprehensive manual test cases, including both positive and negative scenarios • Log and track defects, collaborating with engineers to ensure timely resolution • Conduct regression testing to confirm issue resolution and prevent new issues • Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, and Operations teams to triage issues and ensure quality outcomes • Stay current with new testing tools, techniques, and platform updates to continuously improve testing processes • Advocate for quality across the SDLC, participating in planning and sprint ceremonies • Required Qualifications • Strong technical aptitude and problemsolving skills • Proficiency in using modern web browsers and navigating webbased platforms • Preferred Qualifications • Experience working within Agile software development methodologies • Handson experience testing across mobile (iOSAndroid), tablet, and web interfaces • Familiarity with software product life cycles and quality assurance workflows • Exposure to tools such as Postman and Chrome DevTools (Network Inspector) • Basic scripting knowledge in JavaScript, Python, PHP, or similar • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases • Skills & Attributes • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong defect isolation, documentation, and reproducibility techniques • High attention to detail and a methodical testing approach • Persistence in identifying root causes of issues • Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional stakeholders • Strategic thinker with tactical execution capability • Benefits • Remotefirst culture with flexible work options • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) with company match • Generous PTO and company holidays • Paid parental leave • Professional development and career growth support • Missiondriven, inclusive culture committed to equity in healthcare • About SafeRide Health SafeRide Health is a technology and services company dedicated to reducing barriers to care by improving the delivery of nonemergency medical transportation (NEMT) to people across America.
