About the position Responsibilities • Manage Brand Planning for pre-season and in-season timeframes to meet in-stock targets. • Own accurate monthly in-season Open to Buy (OTB) sales, gross margin percentage, receipt, and inventory adjustment projections. • Reconcile OTB Sales and Receipt projections with Replenishment/Demand Planning system forecasts. • Create pre-season Brand Budget Plans in partnership with Inventory Directors, Merchants, and Vendors. • Develop new brand strategies, projected sales, inventory needs by SKU, and order flow setups for launch timeframes. • Partner with Demand Planning on forecast alignment and strategy. • Guide Merchandise Planning Assistants to prioritize newness and important orders, and communicate delays in key launches. • Analyze and validate sales and inventory needs for key initiatives, animations, and promotions. • Conduct hindsight analysis on newness and key initiatives on a seasonal basis. • Develop liquidation strategies for exit brands/collections or overstock. Requirements • 2-5 years of Supply Chain Planning experience. • Excellent technical skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word. • Ability to contribute new ideas and find solutions to business challenges in merchandising, operations, and finance. • Proven ability to interpret and synthesize data into intelligent business decisions. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and task management skills. • Clear and concise written, verbal, and presentation skills. • Good negotiation skills. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
