Read our story.About The RoleThe Part-Time Motion Graphics Video Editor will be responsible for creating compelling and high-quality motion graphics and video content to support our education team and e-learning materials. This role requires a strong understanding of motion graphics principles, video editing techniques, and a keen eye for visual storytelling. You’ll play a key role in bringing our educational content to life through motion graphics, animation, and video editing.This is a part-time position working closely with our education team and subject matter experts to produce videos that will be embedded into our platform training and marketing materials.What You’ll DoDesign and create engaging motion graphics, GIFs, animated infographics, and visual effects for video content.Deliver final assets in formats suitable for LMS (Learning Management Systems) or web embedding.Collaborate with our Education team, marketing, and internal subject matter experts to create video content that aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives.Edit raw video footage, ensuring seamless transitions, pacing, and overall coherence.Incorporate sound design, music, and voiceovers to enhance video projects.Manage and organize video assets, project files, and archives.Provide creative input and suggestions to improve video quality and impact.Utilize translation tools and subtitle files to localize video content.Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work consistently.We’d Like to SeeProven experience as a Motion Graphics Designer and/or Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse motion graphics and video editing projects.Experience creating educational explainer videos preferred.Proficiency in industry-standard software, including Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.Excellent video editing skills, including pacing, storytelling, and sound design.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and organizational skills.Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and feedback.Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of professional experience in motion graphics and video editing.Contract DetailsHours: 20 hours per weekContract Type: Fixed-termCompensation: $50/hrDuration: 6 month contract – potential for extension based on business needs and performanceLocation: RemoteLife at WorldlyOur team is motivated to transform the way products are made.
