[Remote] Cybersecurity Specialist - Springfiend GA/ Wilmington DE (Remote)

They are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to lead OT asset discovery, site deployments, and security posture improvements across multiple manufacturing facilities. The role focuses on Process Control Network and Operations Management Network security, deployment of intrusion detection tools, and establishing OT network segmentation. Responsibilities • Conduct site surveys and create detailed inventories of devices on the PCN (Process Control Network) and OMN (Operations Management Network). • Analyze OT network topology, identify IT OT integration points, and assess the facility OT security posture. • Define and implement the Purdue model for each facility aligned to PERA guidance. • Deploy, configure, and integrate OT integrity / intrusion detection solutions (Hexagon Cyber Integrity or equivalent) across multiple sites while ensuring zero disruption to critical systems. • Validate sensor placement, tuning, and mapping of assets and flows. • Ensure firewall policies and network controls are functioning and up to date. • Verify back-end data visibility so corporate security teams have holistic insights. • Work with plant engineers and OT teams to develop and maintain safe deployment practices, rollback plans, and test procedures. • Develop content and training for the Cyber Champion network to propagate OT security best practices across plant sites. • Produce clear technical documentation, deployment guides, and post-deployment reports for stakeholders. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Operations, IT&P, ISC, A&PC, Automation) to manage site timelines and escalations. Skills • OT Security and OT Asset Management experience (industrial control systems, PLCs, SCADA). • Hands-on experience with OT intrusion detection / cyber integrity solutions such as Hexagon Cyber Integrity, Claroty, Nozomi, Armis, or Microsoft Defender for IoT. • Strong understanding of IT OT integration, OT protocols, and industrial networking. • Practical knowledge of Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture (PERA) and implementation of Purdue model segmentation. • Experience with firewall rule reviews, network monitoring, and OT-safe deployment practices. • Ability to perform site surveys and asset inventories. • Good documentation skills for runbooks, deployment guides, and security assessments.
