Remote Logistics Sales Executive Position Work Location: Remote Company: BCAT Logistics Corporation Employment Status: Full time Compensation: $40K - $170K ($40,000 base salary plus commission) Position Starting: February 2025 or ASAP Company Description BCAT Logistics is a continuously growing company with the corporate headquarters located in Elk Grove, Illinois and satellite office in St. Petersburg, Florida. Started in 2019 as a car shipping company (Best Care Auto Transport now doing business as BCAT Logistics) and quickly expanded our book of business to handle FTL, LTL, Drayage, Expedited, Reefer, International, and Heavy Equipment shipments. We also utilize warehousing. We have been open for several years and are steadily expanding. We are looking for a well organized, motivated Account Executive who will be able to help us continue to grow our book of business. We are looking for someone who desires to work in a collaborative environment, desires a long term position, and is excited to work for our company. Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in domestic transportation sales and is motivated to obtain new customers. Qualities will include strong interpersonal and customer service skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, willingness to go above and beyond to ensure customers needs are met, and is driven to build the business. Responsibilities • Identify and generate new leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals • Main liaison between company and customer • Bring on additional business through prospecting new accounts • Maintain and update accurate information in the company’s CRM (Hubspot) and operating system while utilizing the company phone system • Utilize the lead generation tool (Cognism), CRM, and email campaigns to grow our book of business • Collaborate with operations to assist with load building, tracking, and other miscellaneous tasks • Create a culture of continuous quality improvement and maintain or update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed • Maintain ability to be responsive to all customer and carrier needs at all times • Book available freight in a cost effective manner, negotiate rates Qualifications • Proven history of achieving quarterly sales targets. • Consistently follows Company policies and procedures and departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. • Must possess strong interpersonal skills. • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. Requirements • Candidate must possess strong mathematical skills and ability to understand basic costing for all freight forwarding products including air/ocean/domestic trucking/import and export. • Candidate must possess proficient computer skills in Slack, Google Workspace, all MS Office programs, Hubspot or general CRM, comfortable with lead generation tools (Cognism or equivalent) • Minimum 1 year experience in freight industry with at least 1 year in a sales role specifically • Must be a self-starter and highly motivated.
