Job Description As our ideal candidate, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch administrative support, managing patient care, and maintaining a seamless workflow. Your duties will include a mix of medical billing, receptionist tasks, and other administrative responsibilities that require excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: • Greet patients, answer phones, and check-in/out patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor • Create patient charts, ensuring all necessary information is accurately entered into our practice software • Prepare for each day's work by checking supplies, maintaining a tidy reception area, and sorting through mail • Take payments, enter purchase information into our practice software, and manage patient confidentiality • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, perform tasks such as filing or photocopying documents as needed • Perform other duties as assigned by the office manager or doctor, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities Essential Qualifications: • 3+ years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment • Certification in medical billing and coding or more than one year of experience in medical billing and receptionist work • Proficiency in practice management software and MS Office, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities Preferred Qualifications: • Therapy or medical experience, with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and its unique challenges • Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to stay motivated and productive in a home-based setting • Knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems, and healthcare regulations, with the ability to stay up-to-date on industry developments What We Offer As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy a competitive salary, paid time off, and opportunities for growth and professional development.
