By joining now, you'll have significant impact on our growth trajectory and the opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up.About the RoleThis is an internal leadership role at Donna, not a client role.As a Team Lead, you'll be one of the cornerstones of our talent development and retention strategy. You'll manage and coach a diverse team of 8-12 virtual Executive Assistants, helping them excel in their client relationships while building fulfilling careers at Donna.This role requires you to be both a supportive mentor and a performance-focused manager. You'll build genuine trust and rapport with your team members, providing the coaching and guidance they need to succeed with their clients. At the same time, you'll set high standards and deliver direct, sometimes challenging feedback when performance issues arise. We provide exceptional opportunities for our talent, but we also expect exceptional results - and you'll be responsible for maintaining that balance through both encouragement and accountability.Beyond day-to-day coaching, you'll serve as the primary HR liaison for your team, handling everything from vacation requests to policy questions. You'll also be a key voice in shaping how Donna operates, providing input on policies, procedures, compensation, and our hiring and training processes. Your insights from working directly with talent will help inform company-wide decisions.Most importantly, you'll be instrumental in building and maintaining the company culture that makes Donna an exceptional place for talent to grow and thrive. Through regular Slack check-ins, video calls, and ongoing support, you'll create an environment where talented professionals choose to build their careers with us long-term.Our Hiring ProcessOur process is simple and focused. We start by carefully reviewing your resume, then invite you to share a short (2-minute) intro video so we can get to know you beyond the paperwork. From there, you’ll go through friendly and thoughtful conversations: A quick (20-30 minute) chat with our Recruiting Lead → A (40-50 minute) coaching simulation with our Training Lead to show us your unique coaching style → And a final conversation with our CEO.RequirementsResponsibilitiesThe Team Lead role is a dynamic one and there is no way to capture every responsibility. Balanced leadership approach - comfortable being both supportive mentor and firm accountability partner as situations require Cultural intuition - ability to build trust and rapport across cultural differences, particularly with Filipino professionals and American clients Strong judgment - makes sound decisions about when to escalate issues, how to prioritize competing demands, and what feedback to giveNeed to haves3+ years of direct people management experience (not just project leadership)3+ years of hands-on experience supporting executives and teams as an Executive Assistant, Virtual Assistant, or in a similar roleProven experience managing remote teams or distributed workforcesProven track record of developing and retaining team membersStrong English communication skills (written and verbal)Nice to havesExperience working with global businesses, preferably American clients or in American business contextsPrevious experience as an HR liaison or handling employee relationsFamiliarity with coaching methodologies or people development frameworksExperience providing input on or developing company policies or operational proceduresBenefitsFixed salary: ₱80,000 per month, paid semi-monthlyWork setup and schedule: Fully remote, Full-time, EST work hours (night shift Philippines), Monday to FridayPaid time offUpcoming benefits (2025 - 2026):HMO coverageSSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealthPerformance-based bonusesAnnual salary increase (performance-based)13th month pay (prorated based on tenure)
