Senior Project Manager – Public Safety We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and support public safety technology projects within an IT environment. This role involves managing initiatives across departments such as Police, Fire, 911, and Corrections, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and IT strategies. Key Responsibilities: • Manage public safety technology projects from initiation to completion. • Track progress, manage risks/issues, and ensure projects stay on time, within scope and budget. • Define and manage critical paths, milestones, testing, and acceptance criteria. • Recommend and implement process improvements and performance enhancements. • Maintain clear and timely communication with stakeholders, including reports and presentations. • Facilitate meetings, prepare documentation, and support cross-functional collaboration. Requirements: • 7+ years of experience managing large, complex, and high-profile projects. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. • Active PMP certification (Project Management Institute). • Experience with business process, software, and hardware implementation using Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies. • Strong knowledge of SDLC and project documentation best practices. • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word. • Skilled in executive-level communication and presentations. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Must be available to work onsite 3 days per week (hybrid schedule). • 36-hour work week. Preferred: • Experience with Microsoft Project Server and SharePoint. • Previous work in government or public sector environments. • Familiarity with public safety systems. • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
